  • How much does the ClearPath tip add to scope diameter?

    ClearPath soft tip adds less than 4 mm to endoscope diameter.

  • How long does it take to apply ClearPath to the endoscope?

    Less than 1 minute for trained staff.

  • How difficult is it to apply ClearPath to the endoscope?

    ClearPath is simple to apply correctly and quickly with minimal training.

  • Will ClearPath stiffen the endoscope? Affect maneuverability?

    ClearPath may add some rigidness to the scope in some cases, but experience shows no significant negative effect on the ability to perform procedures.

  • Can I still use the scope working channel for suction/irrigation/tools?

    Yes. Because ClearPath employs an external over-tube, your scope working channel is always available.

  • Can ClearPath be used on any patient?

    There are no contraindications other than those of endoscopy, though in cases of severe diverticulosis and narrowing of the colon usage should be considered by the physician.

  • Can I use ClearPath for irrigation through the working channel?

    Yes, by using the ClearPath Irrigator, an adapter for irrigation through the working channel.

  • Will ClearPath damage the endoscope?

    No, ClearPath will not damage the endoscope.

  • Is ClearPath approved by the FDA/CE?

    Yes, ClearPath is FDA and CE cleared.

  • Does ClearPath fit any endoscope?

    ClearPath has several models to fit all standard Gastroscopes and Colonoscopes.

  • How large is the ClearPath suction channel?

    ClearPath’s suction orifice is equivalent to a 6mm diameter channel, almost double the working channel of a standard endoscope.

  • Is it possible to perform retroflection in the rectum with ClearPath?

    Yes.
